    History was made once again at the World's Fastest Drummer Regional Finals in Nashville Tennessee! It was a great turnout as people traveled from across the US and even Canada to participate. While playing traditional grip Matt Smith at 18yrs old became the youngest person to surpass 1000 strokes per minute at the competition and ended up with 1132 per min. A NEW WORLD RECORD!!!! Friday, June 20th, 2008 kicked off the official start of SUMMER NAMM 2008 in Nashville, TN. We hit the floor as early as possible and began to cover the show, meet with dealers, vendors, and the handful of artists that came out to show their support.
