I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the new Yamaha DTX900 Series Electronic Drums. Then, just like their predecessors, I couldn't believe my ears. Not only did the sleek design draw my attention but then suddenly the pads on the drums themselves. I have to admit I'm on the fence about the DTX-PAD technology. Although it's pretty feature-limited for an app that's supposed to debut at US$3.99 and a dark, minimally designed, overly-complicated series of dots to build drum sequences.
