Bass help

So, i need help with my double bass. i dont need speed tips, or exersises to develop speed, i need help on how to go slow. i dont get the same sound from my left foot going slow as i do going fast, my slow is very weak. any help?

dude just pound the hell out of both feet then take it down evenly once you get an even sound

Check out the drum lesson section on this site. Look for the lesson called, "Felipe Torres-Double Bass-Flip of the Week. He talks about the position of your foot on the pedals and the difference between fast and slow.

Play with a metronome. If you can play things fast, break it down and play it at all speeds for better control
