Mine are poorly tuned... I never cared to even research drum tuning. A friend of mine tuned it for me (he was good) so i decided to go with what he taught me. Paper towels and tape :D

Paper towels and tape? haha.. yeah deadening the heads does make it easier to get a singular sound out of your drums. Keep watching more tuning videos, there's a wealth of info to learn!

Great video,there are a lot of poorly tuned drums being played by good players.

This is the plague that we drummers must deal with, poorly tuned drums. Thanks to Bob Gatzen and many others who have taken the time to discuss these topics with us!
