I'm not gonna be one of those people to say " oh, I've been playing since I was two years old." Every baby at one point or another has a pots and pans kitchen solo. My journey started when my Grandmother bought me my first Indian Tom Tom at age 5. At the tender age of ten Patricia Older ( 1st band director ) CRUSHED my dreams of being a world famous saxophonist buy saying " your hands are too small, and we need someone to play drums." So I took up snare drum in the concert band. Later that year my mother started a children's choir at my church, and I haven't looked back since.
