On September 24, 2009 ddrum Divisional Manager Terry Platt and Seminole Florida Store Manager of Seminole Music & Sound John Spinelli took the trip to DrummerConnection.com's studios to hang out with the DrummerConnection.com crew. We asked our Facebook fans what they would like to ask Terry Platt regarding ddrum's products, operations, artists and how to score an endorsement. We conducted a 45 minute interview with these two wonderful drummers and got your questions answered!
It is important to know that DrummerConnection.com have no affiliations with ddrum other than we are friends in a Drumming Community. Through John Spinelli, we were introduced to Terry Platt at ddrum and Terry took a liking to us and invited us on several travels (yes, we paid our own expenses) to cover Modern Drummer Festival 2008, Carmine Appice's SLAMM!! in Long Island, Winter NAMM 2009 where we were grateful to be part of ddrum's NAMM experience inside their booth. After gaining friendship, understanding and respect for one another, ddrum has proven that companies are not always about the bottom dollar. Through our friendship - and no products came our way whatsoever - we have finally received the opportunity to sit and talk to Terry on camera and find out the scoop.
We appreciate our Facebook fans submitting questions for us, and as a way of showing our appreciation for your time, we have your questions answered!
Endorsement Information: If you are interested in becoming an endorsee of ddrum, please watch this interview, and then go to http://www.ddrum.com then Contact and complete the online form for Artist Submissions - Who knows you may get lucky and get picked up to be a ddrum artist! You must be actively gigging out in front of new people on a frequent basis to get a good endorsement. Just because you're good doesn't secure you on their Artists Roster. Contact Rick Hughes or Terry Platt at ddrum.
If you need ddrum kits, hardware or customizations, as well as Custom Drum Heads, contact John Spinelli at Seminole Music & Sound: http://www.seminolemusic.com
On behalf of our fans, and our crew, we Thank Terry Platt and John Spinelli for taking time out of their chaotic schedules to come here and spend the afternoon with us.
