I saw this Jimmy Chamberlin Snare Drum (Signature) by Yamaha over at Musician's Friend. I want it!

I figured I'd break in my new Blog here at Drummer Connection with a personal experience from a so-called drum store. 

This is a blog post, not a review. A review is coming, but this is just an entry for later on.. I am having a blast with this Sony PCM-D50

I really need to learn how to use this program because I wanted record something today with the V-Drums, but couldn't get Garageband to read the signal from the V-Drums.

Since our return from NAMM, I have been working long hard hours on the website trying to increase our functionality and fix any bugs that our previous web developer may have left behind. I've been around this field for a long time and I'm confident I can whip this site back into shape.

After going to to NAMM and seeing what's been going on, I've been thinking, I want a new kit. I'm just seeking something much better in sound quality. That's what matters the most.
