Talk about a big break! Mike Byrne, drummer for Oregon-based band Moses, Smell the Roses landed the gig of the lifetime playing for the band Smashing Pumpkins. Mike officially got he gig after working with Smashing Pumpkins' frontman Billy Corgan last month. We all wish Mike luck as he is by some now considered "drummer of the future"!

I guess Jimmy is really out! That's some big shoes to fill there! Hopefully his head doesn't become the biggest thing on stage! Good luck Mike! We hope to see you out there! I'm glad I got to see Jimmy Chamberlin with Smashing Pumpkins last summer in Orlando! Free concert, and it was awesome.
