Howdy!
I dig the Shure SM57 but I really have grown fond of the Audix I5 mic. They each cost under $120 bucks US in most stores.. The Audix I5 comes in the Audix Drum Mic Packs as well. The Shure SM57's come 3 or 4 in their Drum Mic Packs.. so you can buy bulk and save a few bucks.
