I've never recoreded drums before. I was getting ready to buy a 8 piece drum mic package along with a Focusrite Saffire 40. Mics to Saffire 40 via XLR connections and Saffire 40 into computer via firewire. I want to record for my own use and to create YouTube videos showing me peforming covers. Can you do a video showing exactly how you set up those drums for use with the myMix. I hate to sound stupid but when you said plug mics into the preamp you lost me. If you could that would be great if not this video was still good. Thanks.
