Hey Eric,

Thanks!! I'm glad you like the sound.
Yeah, the 81 is my left overhead. If you look closely at around 2:00 you can see a KSM 32 mic angled between the left splash and hi-hat. That's the mic for the hat.
I agree about the tune......Bob really writes great songs for that!!

Billy,

The drums sound amazing, especially that 10" tom! I see you have a Shure SM-81 overhead above your hi-hat and your crash cymbal. I usually see the SM-81's positioned really close to the hi-hat, but yours is back a little further. Any comments? Is that one of your overheads?

Nice tune, very smooth sounding and leaves room for lots of creativity on the drums!
