From sold out stadiums to your local hole in the wall dive bar, it's rare to go out and see a band without hearing the all too familiar request of "play some Skynyrd!" We've all heard it before. Sometimes it comes from the back the room or the friend at your side�sometimes it's you! Most people just laugh about it as the band plays on, but what was it really like to be associated with these southern rock icons who've made a permanent mark on American culture and music as a whole? I had the chance to sit down with only one of two people left in the entire world who can still answer that question. A Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame drummer and true survivor, Artimus Pyle gives his insight and opinion on what has become of his life and the state of southern rock today.
