Me playin to some "The Gourds - Gin & Juice"
Me noodling away...
Here's the first recording of my DW kit. Not the best mic job, but the kit.. I love it.
Some moments are better than others. This is about 30 minutes of me playing on... I was playing with some new kick pedals and a new high hat stand (Perl) which I really like.
Over the past few days my good friends Eli and Damian have been to my home studio and we've been jamming. After watching both of my friends play the mallets, I have adapted the attached session of me experimenting with what I have observed and some of my own stuff. It is an honor to practice with such talented people and I think its really influencing my drumming heavily.
Here's me playing around on a kit that I downloaded for my TD-20 called "Chris's Sonor" man... this kit rocks.
This is for my buddy rotcav... just some stuff.
rotcav,
heres a run for the money... or something. This Chris's Sonor kit just kicks major ass.
This is a test with the B-Band drum mics.
Here's another test of the B-Band mics. I have one of my snare drums mic with B-band, and the other with my Shure SM57. I have the overhead mics really low here and I goof around. Notice the rim shots about 2/3 the way through and listen how they record with a contact mic inside the drum.
Here I play around with the EQ on the mixer. The original settings in the previous recordings, the treble, mids and bass ranges were all set to the middle positions. Here I give them a full turn both ways.
Here's some of me goofing around with my Roland TD-20 V-Drums and my Roland SPD-S Sample Pad. These things are a blast. (.6 audio test)
This is the audio I recorded on my DW kit right after installing the B-Band mics in the toms. So, we have b-band mics in all of the drums in this sound. We have to AKG C1000 overheads and I snuck my Beta 52 from the kick drum and placed it on the floor pointing upwards between my two floor toms for some extra sound... This is a rough cut and we are still tweaking the sound.
drumfreak - My DW's and Logic Pro 7 - Test 2
This is my last night in the "wood shed" and I was jammin on my TD-20's. I had some fun here with one of my favorites Gin & Juice covered by The Gourds.
This is the last part of my Woodshedding uploads. I played it as I felt it and had fun doing it. I love the Chris's Sonor Kit!!!
Last one...

I recorded this song in his living room with a stanfard mic set-up. They out some cool effects on the drums afterwards and to me it kinda gives it a digital sound.. pretty cool!

More silly stuff
Messing around with TD-10 sounds.
Here's more of my simple guitar playing with percussion. I play the guitar (just enough to get me into trouble).

A song from "Boom Salad". It was recorded 2-trk live in my basement (so there are some "flubs" from all of us). I added crowd noise for effect afterward.
