Well, we all had tickets to see Stone Temple Pilots at the New UCF Arena in Orlando, FL on Tuesday night but the show ended up getting cancelled due to Tropical Storm Fay which didn't do jack squat here.  We got some rain and nothing more, but due to the media hype, everyone once again paniced and cancelled schools, work, and Stone Temple Pilots got a night off. I'm glad for them, but our only opportunity now is to decide between some free Smashing Pumpkins tickets here in our own back yard, or go for the Stone Temple Pilots again in Tampa, which is about an  hour and a half drive to get there and parked. Hmmm......

Anyways, Tropical Storm Fay as fierce and beautiful as she appeared was nothing more than some much needed rain and wind to shake the leaves out. Here's some pics I took of me hanging out on the back porch as it blew around us.  I hope my words don't bite me in the arse because she's coming back around as I write this.

UH OH TORNADO WARNING. You didn't have to tell me, I was already heading in, I felt the drop in pressure and saw my trees go in all different directions. We hit the bunker with the dog and hung out for a few.... 

If there were ever an eerie picture, it would be the one that I snagged of the "Eye" of the hurricane literally outside the back of my house. The Eye came within 15 miles of us here and it wasn't terror, it was just nice consistent rain for awhile.

Well that's about it. The drums made it ok. No damage here. (I had to put that in there since this is a DRUM blog.. haha). Here's a studio shot for you.

In computer terms, the above image would have an acronym such as (YAPB3D) which stands for "Yet Another Pair of Broken 3 Drumsticks"  How many of these things to do we have to go through to get the point? Damian has been through about 6 pairs, and I'm on my 3rd of sticks that just crack at the strangest times.
