For Part 1 we put together a Linear Groove that consists of a 3 beat sticking pattern that repeats to make a one bar groove. At the end of the lesson we worked on accenting every single hit on the snare drum. Today we’re going to begin accenting every 2 note combination within the groove. There are a total of 10. Today’s lesson will take a look at the first 5. Enjoy! |
