Greetings,
Sometimes it is very difficult to watch the new lessons. I think the problem could be your server.
I usually try to play to video with the sound off while doing other tasks, and come back to it later. There must be some internal buffering going on with my computer. But this trick doesn't always work (like for this lesson).
Maybe having lessons available as a download would alleviate this problem.
Of course I could just be patient because it only seems to be an issue with the newest lessons.
cheers, ed

Hmmm...not sure what the problem may be. I'll try to see what's up on my end.

Hey Billy,
I could finally watch this lesson...(man, I need to be more patient).
I love this rudiment too, and also the 7 single stroke roll.
When the tempo is slow I count out as 1 trip let &....
But when the tempo is fast (for me), I count it as:
dig a da dah.... (I got this from Mark Wessel's book:A Fresh Approach for the Snare Drum). "dig a da dah" is easier to say. But,once you get the rhythm down it's probably easier just to feel it.
Thanks again for a great lesson.
cheers,eddie

I agree, it's easier sometimes to just feel it once you get the rhythm down. And you're right, there are several different ways you can approach counting certain rhythms. The trick is to do what works best for you....I like the dig a da dah approach!
Funny you mention the single stroke 7, I'm shooting a lesson for that this week!
