Here's a lesson on developing hand & foot fill combinations. We'll start by thinking 16th notes, then eventually phrase them as 32nd note fills....this one's fun!! Enjoy! |

Oh, that's really good thing and we can make very nice fills with this combinations but...
I practised some combos like this some times ago and I've understood, that it can't be useful in many situations, because I play not on my own drumset at rehearsal or live. And if drumset doesn't tuned correctly (as often) and it's unable to be tuned so this type of fills doesn't work. And on a stage another one problem is not good miking.

I just got back into drumming and this is a great start for me to learn transitions between music I have been making, thanks! Are you going to make lessons 2, 3, etc?

I suppose this idea doesn't quite fit in with the fill idea like this video. However, I have been messing around with the left foot timing. I was interested in some good combinations of HH open and HH closed.

By the way, I don't think we've yet publicly complimented you on your haircut yet :) It looks sharp! Perhaps try the white tennis shoes with the shorter hair, maybe that'll make your queue times a little more spot on!

Dang Billy! Thanks for this lesson, it's very interesting, and no, 8:15 seconds isn't too long, at least you keep it interesting. The lesson looks great!
Haha, that's also funny when you were ripping around and did that little pop beat in between.
Is it two beats or ballet?
I need to go practice now... (pause).
